Luxurious New Towels!
New towels definitely conjure up a visual in your mind. I was listening to Martha Stewart Radio the other day and they were talking about new towels and how they can freshen up our bath decor, and our lives. I love the thought of a big beautiful fresh smelling new white towel. Most people have a "go to" color for the towels they purchase. I have tried black and red and blue my favorite colors but I have to admit that white towel calls to me. That luxurious spa feel, I guess. Here is a photo of towels from "Country Living" magazine that would be so fun in a guest bath.
What's your favorite color in towels?

Paint-Chip Movie
Paint Chip Movie On my twitter page I came across this paint chip movie. Everything is made using paint chips. The colors they used are listed below the animation. Paint colors seem to be one of the most difficult things for people when to picking paint colors. It's a fun illustration.
Paint chips & Paint can be found are from Sherwin Williams.

Graduation Gift Idea!
My sister graduated this year with her masters in Education. She just finished her Elementary School
student teaching. Hip hip Hooray for Her!!! I was going crazy trying to come up with gift. She has always loved the television show "Little House on the Prairie" , that whole small school house theme you know. So I came up with an idea of making her a birdhouse schoolhouse, and calling it a "One Room Schoolhouse on the Prairie. It was so much fun, creating it. I bought a couple of birdhouses at Michaels and had the smaller one down, painted it up and added lots of personal touches. I always enjoy making homemade gifts, and I think she liked too.

Saturday May 15th is Armed Forces Day in our country. A day to celebrate the men and women that are serving in our miltary. Unlike Memorial Day in a few weeks, is the day we remember those that have died serving our country. Communities across the U.S. traditionally celebrate with parades. Let's show our patritionism and fly our flags tomorrow.

Do Pillows speak?
Do pillows speak to us? Yes I think they can. These pillows are really sending me an invitation. Come on in and sit a while.

No Room for You!
Aren't I a pretty pillow?
So many aspects of design really speak to us. They give us clues about our surroundings. I love pillows, lots of them. But I do realize they send a message and they need to be arranged in such away that they are sending my message. Casual Comfort.... is really what I am trying to portray.
Here's a favorite spot in my home, what does it say to you?
